Grounded in people.
Hands-on with products.

Long before I worked in tech, my work revolved around people: understanding what they needed, building relationships, leading teams, and keeping the everyday experience flowing.

After completing General Assembly’s full-stack software engineering program, I moved into program management at eMed. My work has since grown across product management and hands-on technical delivery, with that customer perspective coming along at every step.

I like to see the whole picture, then get into the details: what someone is trying to do, why it matters, and how each part of the process helps or gets in the way. I also pay attention to what’s left unsaid. A hesitation, an assumption, or details that don’t quite line up can be a reason to look closer. I draw on data, experience, and conversations to understand what’s happening and surface potential problems early.

That understanding is where I start looking for ways to simplify, streamline, and automate, so people can spend less time working around a process and more time doing what they set out to do.

The Experience Behind My Approach

The customer’s perspective

I’ve spent much of my career working directly with customers and clients. Listening, earning trust, and following through have been part of the job all along. That experience taught me to ask beyond the initial request, understand the need behind it, and check that I’ve understood before moving toward a solution.

The operator’s perspective

I’ve managed teams and the daily details that keep a business running. I think about who will use a new process, who will maintain it, and what happens when something doesn’t go to plan. Those questions help me connect a proposed improvement with the practical realities of making it work.

The builder’s perspective

Learning to code expanded what I could contribute. Today, I work across product decisions, delivery coordination, and front-end implementation. Technical knowledge helps me ask more useful questions, work through constraints with engineers, and get hands-on when I can help build the solution.
